Volunteers Needed for Telethon Community Cinemas to help raise funds

HorsePower (HP) Swan Valley is a Charity Partner for Telethon Community Cinemas (TCC) Season 2021-2022. HorsePower Hills has partnered with HP Swan Valley for many years to provide reliable volunteers for TCC. Hills receives very large funds for this assistance from HP Swan Valley.

TCC provides vital funding for HP Hills

These funds are raised by way of the volunteer-run cinema venues. HorsePower volunteers are a key component of outdoor cinema staff each year. What a fun way to volunteer, to raise funds for Hills and to see free movies.

As a charity beneficiary, Hills appreciates the generous support we have received from Telethon Community Cinemas donations, almost $200,000 over the past decade or so. In fact, without the income from TCC, Hills could not run its programs. TCC income makes up more than half of Hills income… and that money provides a big subsidy for every rider’s fees.

Telethon Community Cinemas is a huge fundraiser for many children’s charities in WA. It has made an extraordinary contribution, raising more than $10,000,000 for WA children’s charities.

Volunteers needed to help run TCC nights

Hills has 4 wonderful volunteers signed up so far and we urgently need additional helpers. Will you consider volunteering your time, skills and talent on behalf of HorsePower? You can volunteer with a friend, to make it even more fun. Just once a week or once a fortnight - it’s a small ask & important & valuable.

Volunteer with Telethon Community Cinemas for HorsePower and you will help Telethon to continue making a world of difference to children and their families.
